The Decision made the Commitments offered by the Merged Entity legally binding<br \/>\nin case COMP M.3280.<br \/>\nUnder the Commitments, the Merged Entity offered to make landing and take-off slots on<br \/>\nIdentified Long-Haul City Pairs (Paris-Detroit, Amsterdam-Atlanta, Paris-Lagos,<br \/>\nAmsterdam-Lagos) and on Identified European City Pairs (see below) to enable competing<br \/>\nairlines to operate a daily service on these routes.<br \/>\nFor avoidance of doubt, only the text of the Commitments as adopted by the<br \/>\nCommission will be the reference text.<br \/>\nApplications for slots for IATA Winter 2021\/22 Season<br \/>\nSmith &amp; Williamson LLP has been appointed by the European Commission as the<br \/>\nMonitoring Trustee to monitor the implementation of commitments given by the Merged<br \/>\nEntity.<br \/>\nFollowing an assessment of the Identified City Pairs under these Commitments, the<br \/>\nMonitoring Trustee is inviting applications for slots for the IATA Winter 2021\/22 Season on<br \/>\nthe following routes:<br \/>\nLong-Haul City Pairs<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Paris \u2013 Detroit: one (1) frequency per day (max. 7 slots per week);<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Amsterdam \u2013 Atlanta: one (1) frequency per day (max. 7 slots per week);<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Paris \u2013 Lagos: one (1) frequency per day (max. 7 slots per week); and<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Amsterdam \u2013 Lagos: one (1) frequency per day (max. 7 slots per week).<br \/>\nEuropean City Pairs<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Paris \u2013 Amsterdam: up to 42 frequencies per week \/ up to 6 frequencies per day;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Lyon \u2013 Amsterdam: up to 21 frequencies per week \/ up to 3 frequencies per day;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Marseille \u2013 Amsterdam: up to 14 frequencies per week \/ up to 2 frequencies per day;<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Toulouse \u2013 Amsterdam: up to 14 frequencies per week \/ up to 2 frequencies per day;<br \/>\nand<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Bordeaux \u2013 Amsterdam: up to 14 frequencies per week \/ up to 2 frequencies per day.<br \/>\nAirlines who wish to apply for slots on these routes must follow the procedure set out on the<br \/>\nMonitoring Trustee&#8217;s dedicated website, available here:<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/smithandwilliamson.com\/case-compm3280-air-france-klm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air France-KLM merger \u2013 Slot Release Procedure for IATA Winter 2021\/22 Season On 11 February 2004, the European Commission adopted a Decision under Article 6(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation in relation to the merger between Air France and KLM (the \u201cMerged Entity\u201d).
